David thinks that by him having a pony tail gives him some mystical fishing powers, kind of like Sampson. 8)

Don't make me feel worse than I already do. I did go fish at Lake Balboa today and caught about 50 Talapia.

BTW, I am on the Rooster's New Years 10 day.....

Tilapia?? aren't those the fish that they use at the striped bass farm to eat the bass s@@T?? LOL seen that on dirty jobs, S@@T eaten fish, go figure.

now that new years ten day might call for some pony tail power!

I just came in from an afternoon salmon trolling trip on lake michigan. tally: 1 big steelhead and 5 cohos. its been slow over here this year.

cheers
jerry

I figured it's only about a mile from my house and a friend told me that there are actually some good sized fish in there. I did see something that kept coming up to eat that was in the 3-5# range but could not tell what it was. It's fun on the 4# test. I just release everything I catch from there. I see people loading up coolers with everything they catch. I guess it's dinner for them.

Doesn't sound like you had that bad of a day, Steelhead & Coho's, I would take that.

I am going to need all the luck & strength for the New Years trip since there is the potential for some pretty big fish. I also think some new gear is in order.

No complaints here, I love grilling fresh caught cohos. I usually smoke the steelhead, great stuff but not as good as the yellowfin i caught on the 5-day.

Oh yeah, new gear is always in order...

but to be honest, I went on the five day with much more than I needed. others needed more than me but i could have gone with just my jx 6/3 40 lb outfit and my 545gs 30lb and been good.

hey eddie, where did you go????

Not till I googled "Sexual Predators of the Norhtwest". Then I got coldcocked with yer mug complete with short curly hairs (and I believe young male) traped between yer two teeth( total in all) like broken off dental floss.

All I can say is buy yerself one of dem der nasal hair trimmers cause I think Sasquatch is bedded down in yer left nostril.

And how much for yer daughter?. I got 4 left out of a sixer of Micheys Big Mouth and half a 40 of Colt 45. I'll throw in a bag of pork rinds ta sweeten the deal!!!

Yer spooniin buddy.
