I noticed a blurb for a local surf fishing contest in The Register.

Check http://www.hookupsportfishing.com/.

I see WP is on the pre-reg list :D

Bwana, skip the yak for a day :D

Who's in?

Steve

Steve,

Are you going to fish this tourney?

About a week ago, the owner of Albakore (Jeff Jost) asked me if I would fish this tourney representing Albakore Tackle. Took me about half a nanosecond to respond. Even if I didn't love surf fishing I would have agreed. Since I've been on their Pro Staff, Jeff and his wife Naomi have been very gracious and fair with me. And besides that, they put out a great product.

I'm also fishing a tri-county (LA, OC, SD) tourney the following weekend.
If you're interested, send me a PM.

Hope to see you on the 6th.

WP
:D

I would fish it in a heartbeat, but I am a ECV Clamper and our Chapter dedicates historic monuments twice a year May and October.

That weekend we are 15 miles north of Blythe erecting a bronze monument honoring the World War II vets at a paratrouper training camp location. I bet you thought the government erected those historic markers.

I'll have to let a KM take first place  One of y'all better win!

I'm in a two day kayak tourment this weekend, Sat SD Bay and Sun Mission Bay. Wish me luck. You all can check out on-line how I did. I prefished last Saturday SD Bay from sun-up to sun-down trying to find a couple of spots since it was only my second day on those waters. I need beginners luck on Mission Bay since I've never fished there before.

Bwana
