The only problem with that dinner is that the avocados are chilean and not california!

At least that is what my wife would point out.

I agree the Chilean ones are a bit on the watery & bland side.

It takes a trained Eye!

Seriously, it's a time of year thing, we will start to see California fruit anytime now. My wife has as one of her clients the California Avocado commission, so I am up to speed on these things. Also, the California Haas have an almost black bumpy skin, the Chilean fruit has a red tint to it. The other fruit you would get up in your neck of the woods more than us down here is the Mexican fruit. That Damn NAFTA has seriously hurt the growers down here, in my opinion anyway.
